Bus Services
Comprehensive bus services run into and also from the town centre. Trolley Parks

Park along with Ride
The Park & Ride service for shoppers in Hemel Hempstead provides a quick as well as easy way to get into the town centre. There are several free car parking spaces at Gadebridge Park. Just leave your car there and also hop on board the bus to the town centre. There is a bus every 30 minutes so you won't have long to wait and also the service operates the whole day. In between Monday and also Saturday the first bus leaves Gadebridge Park at 7.45am and also the last bus returns from Bridge Street at 6.05pm (35p single - 45p return).
Parking
The town centre boasts over 2,500 car parking spaces, catering for short stay as well as long stay needs. The 1200 space, pay on foot, Marlowes Centre car park charges just 70p for 2 hours with free parking on Thursdays after 5pm for late night shopping. Other car parks are reasonably priced and all have high levels of security, with CCTV, good lighting and/or security personnel.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking bays are provided across the town centre in many locations. Allocated spaces are available within the Marlowes Shopping Centre car park, Blue level A, and within the ground floor in the Water Gardens decked car park.
Parent as well as Child Parking
A designated "Parent & Child" parking area is found on Red level B of the Marlowes Centre car park (second entrance).
Shopmobility
Shopmobility is a national scheme that enables people with mobility difficulties whether permanent or even temporary to get out and about for shopping as well as other activities. In Dacorum it is run by the Borough Council with a team of volunteers along with is recognised as the best schemes at the country.
Hemel Hempstead Shopmobility provides numerous wheelchairs as well as scooters, manual or battery-operated, which are loaned without charge to users of the service.
The whole of the town centre, the Marlowes Shopping Centre shopping mall, the pedestrian area of Marlowes, the Water Gardens, Gadebridge Park and the 'Old Town' High Street can be visited with such vehicles.
The Shopmobility service is located within the Marlowes Shopping Centre car park, on Blue level A of the Car Park. Parking on level A is reserved for registered users of Shopmobility and also "Orange Badge" holders only. Normal car park charges apply. The Blue Car Park is the first entrance in Wolsey Road.
On foot, Shopmobility can be reached from within the Marlowes Shopping Centre by taking the lift to level A. The most convenient lift to take is the one around the far left-hand corner of the mall around the end of Wilkinson's window display (NOT the glass-sided scenic lift).

Available within the Marlowes Shopping Centre, 1st floor (via North Mall lifts) and Mothercare. In Marlowes available within the Early Learning Centre and at the re-furbished toilets by the Market.
